ESPANOL

A very special place on earth where the diversity of the rainforest flows like rivers into the sea.  Where whales come every year to birth their calves and dolphins play in the waves.  All of the elements are alive and inviting you to drop in, slow down, take a deep breath and have an experience with nature.

Uvita is a little town on the Southwest Coast of Costa Rica.  Situated perfectly between Dominical (a small and charming surf town) and Ojochal (developing a reputation for it’s fine cuisine).  Uvita makes for a convenient yet rural destination and “hub” to fulfill all of your traveling, adventure and personal needs.  Beautiful beaches line the coast and are minutes from your villa. Mezmerizing sunsets every evening.

Costa Rica literally means “Rich Coast”.  Uvita is a three hour drive south from San Jose airport or an hour south from Quepos national airport.  Crossing over the Dominical bridge transports you into our jungle paradise.  Here begins a breathtaking visual journey from rainforest mountain canopy to the cooling effect of our Rich Coast.

Our Location

Pagoda Garden Villas is 1 km off the highway at an elevation of 550ft. We are situated at the edge of primary rainforest and are visited frequently by several troops of monkeys. We are five minutes drive to Uvita town proper.  We recommend renting a car although we can arrange private transport for you should you prefer not to drive.  You can access our property without 4x4, but it is recommended for general ease in exploring the southern zone.

Uvita gives you the sense of being in the middle of nowhere and offers a fully equipped vacation destination. Not only are we surrounded with lush tropical rainforest and a glorious vast ocean but all on the main road we have two banks, two grocery stores, a gas station, car repair shop, spas, pharmacies, three rental car agencies plus restaurants, souvenir shops, tourist information centers, etc.

Relax and forget the milk and eggs because going back to town to pick them up is just minutes away.
You can fill your days gazing at the horizon or you can take an opportunity to explore and discover the diversity of this region.
